Works For Me Wednesday
My kids eat lots and lots of flavor ice popsicles outside. Because, well, you know they make a big mess when you eat them inside the house. Anyway, I finally put a trashcan out in the backyard. When they are done with the popsicles or any other treat they can just throw the wrappers away. This also comes in handy when I need to get Reese out of a wet (from the pool) diaper and don't want it coming thorough the house. You'd be amazed at how much trash you accumulate in the backyard. Have a great summer!

Great idea and a simple way to make a game out of keeping the back yard trash free.

I used to let mine eat them in the blow-up wading pool. Voila! Instant kid clean-up.

Now they're so big...they don't even really want popsicles anymore. I kinda miss the messes, you know?

I could not live without my backyard can! haha
It is where the kids and family and friends that tend to hang out here, can put all their nasties and such and it also gives me a place to put "REALLY DIRTY" diapers when Kordell is here! Although I think my neighbors are beginning to complain! I noticed one the other day had hung a large "christmas tree" car thingy on their patio! (wonder if it works on mosquitos too)? Have a great day and if you get a chance go to my new blog and let me know what you think! I am having a blast and am already working on a kids line! hehe (it's just beads, but it sure is fun!)
Have a great weekend!

I finally decided to copy my neighbor's trash can idea this summer. After picking up empty Caprisuns, Cheez-It bags and goldfish containers from the deck for 10 minutes, I realized it was a "HAVE TO."

And it IS amazing how fast the trash builds up!!!
